The Adopt-a-Backpack for Children (ABC) Project originated in the Junior League of Columbus in 1999.  Since then, over 12,500 brand new backpacks have been filled full of school supplies and donated or rewarded to children in the Columbus community to start the new school year.  The Junior League is currently working on gathering donations for the distribution supply-filled backpacks to underserved elementary school children in the Columbus community for the 2008-2009 academic year!  Click here for more....
