Our third annual Besties Backpack Bash was hosted on November 16, 2017, at Copious and was a huge success! This year, women of the League and the community gathered for a fun night with their besties to shop pop-up boutiques, enjoy hors-d’oeuvres and beverages, as well as participate in our first ever quarter auction. As always, this event would not be complete without our favorite gal pal, Dee W. Ieye, who assisted in keeping everyone laughing and bidding!

This event featured nine pop-up boutiques and 50 auction items. Auction items ranged from Lularoe leggings to an overnight stay at Hotel Leveque. This was the first year the league hosted a quarter auction and was very well received amongst guests. It was a fast-moving and fun evening of raising funds for our beloved Adopt-a-Backpack for Children Project! Besties Backpack Bash had 142 attendees. Special thank you to the 2017-18 New Member Class for hosting this wonderful event.
