As the reign of Bargain Box came to a close, we cherished the memories of this project; one of the longest-run fundraisers in Columbus. Bargain Box has become an annual event known by the masses for its
extensive departments and treasured finds. After the 65th Bargain Box, Vets Memorial (the venue where the most Bargain Boxes have been held) closed its doors. Since that time, it has been an ongoing struggle for the
League to find adequate space to store items and hold a sale.
Through social media on Sunday, April 19th, Hayley Roberts and Courtney Rea showed us tips and tricks on how to organize our closets. You still have time to do this, and any items you wish to give away will be picked up and donated to Dress for Success. Donation items include: Professional/work-appropriate clothes, coats, shoes, purses, scarves, jewelry, and unused makeup.
