The Junior League of Columbus invites you to help make a difference in the lives of deserving women and children in the community. The mission of all Junior Leagues is three-fold: - Developing the potential of women;
- Promoting voluntarism; and
- Improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
In Columbus, Junior League members collaborate with community partners to make a positive and lasting impact on individual's lives. Our focus is on the well-being of children, specifically keeping children safe, and we are proud to be making a difference. While receiving organizational, leadership, volunteer and community issue based training, members of the Junior League are able to touch the lives of so many through its community projects and collaborations. These projects are funded through JLC Events , corporate sponsors, various giving opportunities , and generous contributions from its 700 members, the public and corporate donors. The Junior League of Columbus reaches out to women of all races, colors, religions, and national origins, 22 years of age and over, who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.
