For more than 80 years, the JLC has assisted projects in the Columbus community affecting children, women, the urban and natural environment, education, senior citizens, cultural endeavors, and family violence. JLC volunteers have lent substantial assistance and funds for the conception and establishment of such notable Columbus institutions as COSI, the Childhood League, the Columbus Landmarks Foundation, Action for Children, the Center for New Directions, and The Kelton House Museum & Garden.
